Kayla’s journey with Illuminate is different than the rest of the team. She and Kyla worked in their previous career together as partners and after Kyla founded Illuminate and Kayla took on the role of mama to her little one, they parted ways for a period. Flash forward seven years later, Kayla has joined Illuminate as Chief Operations Officer. Kyla and Kayla have a working relationship that has always complemented one another and continues to do the same within Illuminate.
As a mama to her little ones Jack and Stella, Kayla keeps busy outside of work chasing a toddler + cuddling a newborn and spending all her time with her husband and pups. Casual bike rides and walks to her community beach fill her time in the summer and hibernating in the winter until the warm weather is her go-to for the colder months.
