Kayla’s journey with Illuminate is different than the rest of the team. She and Kyla worked in their previous career together as partners and after Kyla founded Illuminate and Kayla took on the role of mama to her little one, they parted ways for a period. Flash forward seven years later, Kayla has joined Illuminate as Chief Operations Officer. Kyla and Kayla have a working relationship that has always complemented one another and continues to do the same within Illuminate.
Outside of Illuminate, Kayla's greatest joy is being a mama to Jack and Stella. She loves spending time outdoors with her husband, their pup, and their children, embracing the simple moments and seeing the world through the eyes of her little ones. Her passion for nervous system resilience continues to shape both her personal life and the way she supports others, reminding her of the value of slowing down, staying present, and finding joy in everyday moments.
